"Bronze Bike ~ Biker Memorial"
Bronze Sculpture is Life Size

The Biker Memorial is being created on behalf of all bikers.
Past   ~   Present   ~   Future

This full size bronze sculpture evolved from the small bronze I created titled "Road Hard - Run Dry".  It honors the memory of my father and his era of riding.  He rode before and after World War II.

Both bikers are replicas of 1945's.  We are uncertain of the year on the bike, so we say mid to later 1940's.  Dad quit riding in the 1980's.  The bike used for the sculpture will still carry some of the original features that Dad remembered, and a few parts from a later date.

I would like to share this memorial in honor of my father, as well as myself, with all bikers in the memory of:
"Not To Be Forgotten"

Biker Memorial ~ How It Began

I have always wanted to create a bronze that would be something different.  Outside the boy, so to speak, not your normal sculpture as most people would expect.  Being involved in Bronze art for over 28-years, I wanted it to be a sculpture that stands out from the norm.  Using my passion for motorcycles and riding, what else would be more fitting than Bronze bikes.

My first  sculpture was
Road Hard - Run Dry, in memory of my father.  He rode a Harley 45 as many did after World War II.  I then created Iron Horse depicting the 50's.  Then came In the Wind, old bike that had been chopped.  In creating these pieces, I always wanted to do a life size monument.

After many years of working with these creations it was time to think of a way to be involved in creating a bike rally, and working towards that life size bike.  Also sharing the idea of a biker memorial for my father's years of riding as well as myself; including all bikers in general.  With all my years of riding, and the love of riding, what would be more fitting  than the 'Biker Memorial'.  I have started, the year 2007.

In the 38 years of riding I have met, and made friends that share the same passion as I.  This memorial will live on forever and a day to be dedicated to ALL BIKERS near and far, and for those NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN.       -  Past, Present, & Future.
